What are homosexuals?

Dictionary.com
"Homosexuals"
–adjective
1.
of, pertaining to, or exhibiting homosexuality.
2.
of, pertaining to, or noting the same sex.
–noun
3.
a homosexual person.

A definition is only a formal statement to briefly describe something, it is how you interoperate the definition to get the real meaning. Everyone knows that homosexuals are "gays" but what comes to your mind when you hear the word "gay"?

Basically the TRUE meaning of this is being attracted to the same sex.

  • Is it wrong to be "gay"?
Being gay simply means you feel comfortable loving the same sex. Life isn't about sticking to religious or family morals it is about loving and caring for your family, friends and loved ones. Who is to say who you can and can't love? In nearly every case homosexuals are born the way they are and can NOT change who they are. A basic understanding analogy is straight men love straight women, and are not attracted to men in any way. The same goes for homosexuals, they are attracted to their same sex and nothing else. It is no ones fault and there is no one to blame, because being gay is not a fault.

  1. So true. I support equal rights and even though I am not gay, I believe other people are and it`s perfectly acceptable. Once, not that long ago, people discriminated against the color of skin - as though it were a persons choice, not "God given". Today the country has progressed and the majority can now see that was wrong and that no matter the color of your skin, you should have equal rights. I foresee a future where the same is true for people with "alternative" sexual preferences and that equal rights will one day be the same for all sexual orientations.
